GBALP

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

Business Criteria all Contractor Members

Class “C” –

            Dues paying member

            Attends minimum of two quarterly meetings per year

            Federal ID# or S.S. # of business

Class “B” –

            Class “C” criteria plus

            State business license

            Local business license in all cities of operation          

            Workman’s comp. insurance

            Liability insurance

            Company name on all vehicles

            Minimum of three years in business   

            Attend a minimum of one educational seminar per year

            Business in good standing

            Completed basic business course

Class “A” –

            Class “B” Criteria plus

            Completed advanced business course

            General contractors license (if required)

            Yearly participation in GBLAP charitable activities

Minimum of five years in business

Class “AA”

            Minimum of ten years in business

PROFESSIONAL CRITERIA

Irrigation Contractor:

Class “C’

            none   

Class “B”

            Complete basic irrigation design course

            Minimum of three years experience

Class “A”

            Class “B’ Criteria plus

            Complete advanced irrigation design course

            Minimum of five years experience

Class “AA”

            Class “A’ Criteria plus

            Certified Irrigation Contractor

            Minimum of ten years experience

Landscape Maintenance Contractor

Class “C”

            none

Class “B”

            Ornamental/ Turf pest control license

            Setting of landscape plants license

            Minimum of three years experience

            Successfully complete a grounds management course

Class “A”

            Class “B” Criteria plus

Minimum of five years experience

Class “AA”

            Class “A” Criteria plus

Minimum of ten years experience      

Chemical Applicator

Class “C”

none

Class “B”

            Ornamental/ Turf pest control license

Supply contractor discount coupons at sponsored meeting

GBLAP charitable project contributor

Business in good standing

Vendor

Have appropriate business licenses

Attend a minimum of two quarterly GBLAP meetings per year

Co-sponsor at least one quarterly meeting per year

Supply contractor discount coupons at sponsored meeting
